Jennifer de Negri reads from Journey to BABYlon

A fragmentary self gropes for tenderness in the fragile, seeks connection to friends, places, idols, other species - and to itself. In "reise nach BABYlon" by Jennifer de Negri, published by parasitenpresse in 2025, the focus is on precarious forms of togetherness that are both created and questioned. Poems that form networks of distributed vulnerability and stand on the threshold of a new way of speaking.

"In de Negri's "journey to BABYlon", poetry melts the ice shield of frozen queer shame, invisible friendship and (elective) kinship beyond the heteronormative nuclear family, of hushed-up anthropocentric and patriarchal forces.
