Jutta Riedel reads from her story Mokrosch, published by Intervallverlag in Cologne. A literary debut, laconically and densely told. The human comedy - rewritten, masterfully restaged.

In the near future. Scenes from a marriage of convenience. Mokrosch, a misanthropic mathematician who is completely uninterested in emotional matters, has had enough. Fed up with life, with his self-imposed mediocrity - with everything. He decides to resign with his own logical consistency. However, anything eruptive, anything spectacular is repugnant to him, so instead of a fanfare, he plans the continuous lowering of his life curve towards zero. But the decisive factor is missing from Mokrosch's calculations. After all, he is not married to just anyone, but to his wife. The lady dictates what happens, and she is only too aware: if the king falls, the game would be over ...
