Leon Skottnik reads from Bilderwandern / Der Durchgang

Leon Skottnik reads short stories about visual art. In his stories, he turns to works of art that can be experienced in very different ways through language. Some of his works are based on real works of art, others are about art whose concept was created for the respective text. What they all have in common is that they take on a new existence in the text and develop a life of their own as inner images. Like visual art, this text art is perceived and triggers a reaction, influenced by the environment and previous experiences. The works are not perceived all at once, but develop word by word. Here, perception is sharpened step by step, a mood is created long before anyone even encounters the artwork. His texts offer a projection surface that creates inner images and enables an individual experience of art.
