Nasima Razizadeh reads from Die Goldwaage (poems)

Text and life are inseparable in Nasima Sophia Razizadeh's poems, and yet there is a fluid border between the two. The freedom that makes it possible to flee from one to the other is boundless. In this boundlessness, the texts meander and flow, repeatedly flowing into the language itself. The motifs are rooted in language, interwoven with language, follow sensual-stylistic chimeras and thematic mirages, lay and blur traces that refer to bodies, and reach back to Greek antiquity.
Razizadeh's texts combine contrasting images such as heaviness and lightness, light and shadow, direct experience and abstract thoughts into dense weaves that become a special fascination of nature, physicality and the poetic.
