Nische

In the organizer's words:

"nische" is the name of a series of events that takes place four times a year at the Diakonissen-bunker in Stuttgart. During the event, one DJ plays for one hour, followed by a second DJ for another hour. The music is not genre-specific and is accompanied by video projections by VJs. The event has a strict time frame and music is played for a maximum of two hours. Diversity is taken into account when choosing the DJs and VJs.

nische wants to show that the club atmosphere can serve as a catalyst to open up artistic access to music. The aim is also to broaden the musical spectrum in nightlife by giving a place to musical genres that are lost in the classic concepts of clubs and concerts.
