How can resistance succeed when powerlessness prevails? How do you not give up hope for freedom when life at home is characterized by a violent, frightening occupation? Two young men, an Israeli and a Palestinian, set out together in search of a path towards greater solidarity and understanding. Faced with the oppressive reality in their home country of Israel, they form an alliance and defy the seemingly insurmountable lines of conflict. This powerful documentary delves deep into the ongoing conflict and repression in the West Bank. It follows the Palestinian activist Basel and the Israeli journalist Yuval. It focuses on the destruction of Masafer Yatta, a small Palestinian village that has been under constant pressure from the Israeli authorities for decades. The documentary captures the raw reality of life under occupation and sheds light on the daily struggles of Palestinian families and communities facing the threat of eviction and the destruction of their homes.
