In the organizer's words:

Dresden-based musician and media artist Alwin Weber has been organizing DIY electronics workshops and circuit bending sessions worldwide under the synonym CircuitCircle aka. SchrägeRunde since 2009. Various DIY synth/effect kits can be soldered. Participants will learn the art of creative short-circuiting and how to handle electronic components and the necessary tools. The soldering workshop is suitable for both beginners and advanced users. Participation in the workshop is free of charge, kits and tools are available. A donation is requested.

After the workshop, there will be a jam session with all participants, where the new instruments can be tested on a proper system. The grand finale will be the two final concerts by Joan Rue aka. "Insektronic" (Ghotsix Labors) from Schwerin and Alwin Weber's solo project "StöRenFrieD" (CircuitCircle, Metaknoten) from Dresden. The music will range from ambient and experimental electronica to techno and noise.
