Exciting opening of the Kultursommer Festival 2025 - with a big, regional, fantastic band!

To kick off the Kultursommer 2025, the Nordwest Bigband presents a special concert experience in the open air: together with the renowned jazz singer Ken Norris (Berlin), the audience can expect an evening full of energy, sound colors and musical depth.

Based in Oldenburg, the Nordwest Bigband has been one of the leading jazz orchestras in northern Germany for over 20 years. Under the direction of Malte Schiller, the ensemble interprets works from the modern big band repertoire - from swinging elegance to grooving original compositions. With his warm voice, stylistic range and charismatic stage presence, US-born Ken Norris brings international flair to the city.
