Normen, Macht und Männlichkeit - Wie das Patriarchat Männer* prägt

What makes a man and in what way? What is supposed to be 'typically' male and what is not? In which areas is masculinity limiting? What is 'toxic' about masculinity? And how does all this relate to sexism and feminism?

There are ideal-typical images of masculinity that are (un)consciously passed on through upbringing and socialization. They can block equality and diversity or even form the basis for misogyny, violence and racism. At the same time, they often lead to high pressure, isolation and psychological stress for men* themselves.

On this evening, we want to address these issues. How can male and female socialized people succeed in questioning male* roles and thus positively change patterns of behaviour and relationships in life, family and institutions? Let's get talking - openly, critically and with an eye to the future.
