US emo rapper nothing,nowhere. announces anniversary tour

In December in Hamburg, Munich, Berlin and Cologne

After nothing,nowhere. has mainly been hanging around in the recording studio recently - he released four new albums in 2024 alone, the most recent of which was "Cult Classic"just before Christmas - the US emo-rap visionary is celebrating his 10th anniversary this year with an extensive tour. While several anniversary dates in the States in early summer are already sold out, the multi-instrumentalist from Vermont is also bringing his big The Return of The Reaper: A Decade Of Darkness Tourto Germany in December 2025, where concerts in Hamburg, Munich, Berlin and Cologne are on the program.

Joe Mulherin (*1992) aka nothing,nowhere. was 12 years young when he discovered the guitar as a life-changing outlet and outlet for himself. Nevertheless, after high school he initially set his sights on a career between film and video production. Born in Massachusetts, he attended Burlington College in his adopted home of Vermont and studied film there. He even won a special prize at the Cannes Film Festival for one of his first short films. But then, in 2015, he also posted his first musical sketches online via Soundcloud - and reached even more people with these DIY tracks. Inspired by Sunny Day Real Estate and American football, the Wu-Tang Clan and MF Doom, he was already defining his very own sound between emo and rap, between alternative, trap and singer-songwriter sounds à la Sufjan Stevens or Alex G

The first Soundcloud and Bandcamp releases were followed by the official debut album "Reaper" in 2017, which was celebrated by the New York Times, among others. "Ruiner " was released shortly afterwards via Fueled By Ramen - which, thanks to streaming hits such as "hammer", also paved the way for the Reading Festival in England and the celebrated collabo EP "Bloodlust" (2019) with Travis Barker (blink-182). With the albums "Trauma Factory" (2021) and "Void Eternal" (2023), he brought even more styles and sounds (including nu-metal) into play, then played even bigger stages supporting Fall Out Boy, while many of his tracks collected streams in the double-digit millions (including "fake friend", "nightmare").

The question "Will It Emo?", with which nothing,nowhere. recently served up a series of celebrated emo cover versions (including songs by Smash Mouth, Chappell Roan) in the socials, can also be answered personally by his dedicated fan community at the beginning of December - when Mr. Mulherin finally comes back to Germany to celebrate his first round anniversary.
