He was born on the deathbed of the GDR, according to East German author Hendrik Bolz, who experienced his youth between two colliding systems, as a jettisoned particle of the so-called noughties. In his debut novel of the same name, a hybrid of coming of age and structural analysis, Bolz describes his journey through the prefabricated housing estates of Stralsund. It is an awakening without adults. The teenager's still directionless energy is increasingly discharged in violence and racism. Everything is marked, smeared and agitated. Anyone who looks or looks the wrong way is already provoking escalation. And while the parents are completely absent in their search for a place in the new system, the adolescents find their answer in the numbing of all insecurities. The protagonist decides about his heart: "Out with the blood clot, stone in place!" But Hendrik frees himself from the hardening and, in the midst of a political upheaval, carries out his very personal ...

Director Kajetan Skurski stages the development of a young man as an urban procession through the city - from Kleines Haus 3 through the city to Hauptstraße.

The theater evening starts at Kleines Haus 3 in Glacisstraße. After about 25 minutes, we will walk together with the actors in divided groups and scenic processes towards Hauptstraße. This will take about 20 minutes. We will guide you to a store at Hauptstraße 30 that has been converted into a theater space and continue the play for you there.
