The magnificent Nymphenburg Palace and the lavish gardens are to be understood as a total work of art in keeping with the Baroque concept of art. Both were created to be glamorous places of representation - but above all to celebrate lavish parties.
The Hubertussaal in the north wing was designed from the outset as a festive space for concerts, parties and theater. It still provides the perfect ambience for the Nymphenburg Palace Concerts today. Popular baroque and classical masterpieces are made for these surroundings. Mozart himself celebrated his first great successes at Nymphenburg Palace as a 7-year-old - this room still breathes music today!
