Objectives and Key Results (OKR) - Outdoor Experience

The OKR method (Objectives and Key Results) is becoming increasingly popular in organizations.

Many organizations of different sizes and industries use OKR to build a bridge between the organization's strategy and the operational tasks in the teams by setting objectives.

The method promises greater transparency so that everyone in the organization knows where the journey is heading and what contribution their own tasks are making. This can also increase the perceived effectiveness of each individual and increase motivation and satisfaction.

During our "OKR Outdoor Experience", we want to take a look at your practice - behind processes and meetings:

  • What do you want the use of OKR to serve?
  • What can the use of OKR already change for you, or what has already changed?
  • What are your current challenges that can be solved using the OKR method?

Why outdoor?

We at Walkaboutyou love fresh air, but not only that. Movement outside allows us to look behind the method box. This allows us to recognize the real challenge. The OKR practice is one possible perspective to look at the actual source.

We alternate between exchanges in small groups, impulses from experts and our own reflections.

The aim is to learn from each other, to network with other OKR users and perhaps to take away concrete impulses for your OKR practice.

In keeping with the time of year, we take advantage of the special qualities of the approaching winter: the colder, darker season gives us the opportunity and space to delve deeper into things and reflect, perhaps also to question and prepare for change in the coming year.

Who is behind it

Walkaboutyou

We walk in spaces of tangible connection to ourselves, other people and nature. In this way, we enable healthy growth from the inside out, for our planet, society and the economy.

Since the beginning of human history, walking in nature has been inextricably linked to our biological, personal and social development.

At Walkaboutyou, we go back to what our bodies and brains are made for - walking in small groups in nature in a combination of learning and development. Scientific studies underpin the positive effects, e.g. on focus, collaboration, resilience and sustainable behavior. Specifically, we offer outdoor workshops in the context of sustainability, new work and leadership, where we see the team or community as the central lever for change.
