OBLIVIA: Reality Bang (Heroines of Sound Festival)

The Heroines of Sound Festival opens with a spectacular performance by the performance group Oblivia, who are staging an experimental musical contemplation of the Anthropocene with "Reality Bang". The Helsinki-based company's latest production is dedicated to the topic of global warming. Together with the award-winning composer Yiran Zhao, they present an arrangement of live electronic music, light and stage design that captivates with its minimalist yet powerful aesthetics as well as its grotesque comedy.

Afterwards, singer-songwriter Chikiss expresses the power of resistance and resilience in her unmistakable, immersive and dreamy synth-pop.
