1998 saw the release of The Legend of Zelda - Ocarina of Time, still the best video game of all time according to critics. The fantastic soundtrack by Super Mario composer Koji Kondo played a major role in this success. The Cologne-based video game band Endgegner is now bringing this music to the concert stage. From the mystical "Lost Woods" and the iconic "Gerudo Valley" to the many smaller melodies such as the "Hymn of the Storm", almost the entire soundtrack is presented in the dramaturgical order of the game's progression. Musically, everything from jazz, classical, country, ambient, folk and progressive rock is represented. Together with original scenes on the screen in the background and the moderation, the audience relives the magic of the game, and the band's energetic live performance not only provides plenty of catchy tunes, but also takes the audience on a journey full of adventure and nostalgia!

About the band:

Endgegner is a video game jazz cover band from Cologne. Melodies from video games are interpreted with the means of a jazz and rock band. Classic and spacey keyboard sounds or a distorted electric guitar play the melodies, solos and chords over the driving rhythms of bass and drums. The performance thrives on dynamic range and energetic instrumental solos. After 6 albums and numerous appearances at game festivals, "Ocarina of Time - The Zelda Concert" is the second dramaturgically coherent concert program that raises the epicness of live video game music to a new level!
