Octave Lissner was born in Paris. His musical career began with violin lessons as a child and expanded to guitar and songwriting during his school years. With a passion for rock, folk and soul, Octave's music is a multi-faceted body of work influenced by legends such as Nino Ferrer, Bob Marley, the Kings of Leon, Otis Redding, Bob Dylan, Leonard Cohen, the Rolling Stones and the Beatles. Octave has released two albums, "Wildflower" and the self-titled "Octave Lissner", which demonstrate his versatility as a singer and songwriter with an eclectic taste. His lyrics deal with themes of love, loss, growth and the world around us and resonate well with his audience. As an independent artist, Octave has achieved considerable success, performing at prestigious venues and festivals such as Paradiso in Amsterdam, Koko in London and the Montreux Jazz Festival. He sings in French, English and Italian and has built up a diverse and loyal fan base.
