In her many years as a lecturer and professor, Prof. Rita McBride has always welcomed and supported the realization of video and moving image works. As part of the Odyssey event series, an initiative of former students, the Filmwerkstatt Düsseldorf is bringing together a group of artists whose practice has emerged from this context, combining different formats and approaches to create an immersive day of events. The bar and terrace will remain open after the exhibition.

The Odyssey series presents a diverse programme consisting of classic formats such as exhibitions, performances and screenings, but also yoga classes and karaoke evenings, all of which are co-organized and designed by former students of Prof. Rita McBride's class.

The events run from April to June and take place at different locations. The program is continuously updated and can be found here: April | May | June | July
