OFF EUROPA: HOW I LEARNED TO DRIVE

What is interesting about this production is not only its arc of suspense, which is created by a clever, convoluted dramaturgy. The intimacy of the performance space and the intense play in the midst of the audience are also key elements. The rational and emotional image of the play is created in the minds of the observers; everyone is encouraged and challenged to take a stance on this story.

Although the performance was only created in the spring of 2024, it has already been shown in several countries. The production, the director and both performers have received several awards in Serbia and beyond.
Tara Manić studied at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Belgrade in the Department of Theater and Radio Directing, where she now also works as a university lecturer.
Svetozar Cvetković, one of Serbia's best-known and most successful actors, has already indirectly been a guest at OFF EUROPA and the preliminary project: in MANÖVER 97: MACEDONIAN INVASION, he played the leading role in SREĆNA NOVA '49 (HAPPY NEW YEAR), a film in the supporting program at the time.
