This tragicomedy by the author duo Franca Rame and Dario Fo, which has been a worldwide success since 1983, combines razor-sharp dialog with stunning slapstick and exemplary relationship patterns: the husband cheats, the wife suffers. But then everything changes: the unfortunate woman finds the lover of her dreams, frees herself from her role as housewife and mother, discovers passion and visibly blossoms.
