Offener Origami-Workshop

In the organizer's words:

Origami is the traditional Japanese art of paper folding and has always been a popular activity for young and old in Japan. Once a month, there is an open origami workshop with Yukiko Murakami-Wagner for all age groups in the special exhibition From Inferno to Symbol of Peace. 80 Years of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

Together, children and adults will learn how to create small works of art from a simple sheet of paper through skillful folding - especially the Japanese crane, which stands for happiness, peace and hope and has a special meaning for the memory of the victims of the atomic bombs dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

Participation is included in admission to the permanent exhibition. Limited number of places. Registration is not required.
