We, KundGo. and Katja Elsholz, invite you to an open studio. First of all, we want to offer participants the space and time to show current work and ask questions about technique or content. Our approach to feedback is always appreciative and supportive. We avoid "I think" and prefer "I see" formulations.

We also want to share ideas and inspiration with the participants. These can be newspaper clippings, photos, copies or brochures on all kinds of topics. As we are all creative minds, this part is usually very lively and already very inspiring. The aim is to agree which motif should be used for the painting or drawing. This is followed by a relaxation exercise using Betty Edwards' methods. In her book "Anyone can learn to draw" there are great exercises for letting go and focusing on what you really see. This is followed by free work with the common motif, often as if by itself.
All materials can now be used. You can start with paint or cut and paste - or whatever feels good to you. This process can be very satisfying and we enjoy all the results and look at them together and admire the diversity, even though the participants have worked with one motif.
Everyone can and should take their work home with them and it is not uncommon to continue working on it at home. So feel welcome and get creating!
