The collection presentation "From egg to art. Easter eggs from Upper Silesia" illustrates how simple eggs can be turned into true works of art with intricate patterns, bright colors and historical motifs. Easter eggs not only tell of regional customs and religious symbols, but also of the passion and skill of the artists who have been cultivating this tradition for generations. The presentation also offers a small insight into the Upper Silesian Easter and the customs associated with it, such as "Wet Monday" or Easter riding. As every year, our visitors will find a range of Easter souvenirs in our museum store. From placemats to decorated ostrich eggs, there is something for everyone!
