Special public guided tour for the Open Monument Day

Limited number of participants, free with museum ticket, meeting point: museum ticket office

In keeping with the motto of this year's Open Monument Day "Valuable-full: priceless or irreplaceable?", the tour leads to works of art in the museum that have been valued and treated differently in the museum's history. These include Gerhard Richter's partially uncovered mural "Lebensfreude" and the sculpture of "Hygieia" by Karl Albiker in the newly designed museum garden, which was saved from being scrapped in 1952.
