The Bouvier-Sauvage family proudly looks back on a long aristocratic line of ancestors. When the only daughter announces that she wants to marry the son of a simple Peugeot dealer, they are less than delighted. When the future in-laws meet for the first time, they quickly realize that they are not only worlds apart in terms of wine and car preferences. To make matters worse, the future bride and groom have commissioned DNA tests that reveal more about the ancestry of those present.
