Oktoberfest Lüneburg

In the organizer's words:

If you spontaneously get a craving for veal sausage, pretzels and a good pint of beer in the fall, you don't have to travel to faraway Munich. Because from September 12 to 15, 2025, Lüneburg's Sülzwiesen will be the scene of colorful fun at the 37th Lüneburg Oktoberfest. The Sülzwiesen will be transformed into a huge funfair, with everything from bumper cars and breakdancers to a music express to make the hearts of visitors of all ages beat faster. Around 55 showmen and women also leave nothing to be desired from a culinary point of view with their many sweet and savory stalls.

The big highlight at the Oktoberfest Lüneburg is the Bavarian tent with space for around 2,500 Wies'n visitors. Here, Andreas Autengruber with his Enzian Sextett and the "Original Zipfelklatscher" provide a genuine Bavarian atmosphere between pretzels and beer mugs for four days. The Lünepost Happy Hour has almost become a tradition. On Friday afternoon (14:00 to 16:00), chips can be purchased at half price on all rides and fairground rides. These chips remain valid on all days. On Friday evening (21:45), a high-altitude firework display will also light up the sky over Lüneburg.
