Dresden - It all started at the Kulturpalast Dresden. When Olaf Berger stepped into the limelight exactly 40 years ago, nobody could have guessed that the smart Dresden native would become one of the most successful stars on the entertainment scene. With the "Virginias", his father's band, he catapulted himself to the top of show business.

Let us take you on a journey through his life, from the rocky road to popular pop star and enjoy his hits from 4 decades at his anniversary on 03.09.2025. Almost a million readers of the magazine "FF dabei" voted him the most popular singer and in 1990 Dieter Thomas Heck presented him with the "Golden Tuning Fork", the first artist from the former GDR to do so.

Now we are celebrating this anniversary together with our "Sunny Boy" Olaf Berger from Dresden and are also looking forward to the top-class guests: Patrick Lindner, Francine Jordi, the Schlagerpiloten and Alexander Martin.

Patrick Lindner presented his own television formats on ZDF such as the "Patrick Lindner Show". But it wasn't just his music and his many hits such as "Kloane Tür zum Paradies" and "Die kleinen Dinge des Lebens" that made him headline news. With their fifth album "Rio" , the Schlagerpiloten are flying high as a duo - for the first time they have reached number 1 in the Official German Album Charts and their previous albums have also spent over 70 weeks in the charts. Their success is also due to their LIVE performances, which are celebrated by their fans. With skill, charm and humor, Kevin and Stefan sing their way into the hearts of the audience with hits such as "Die Sterne von Santo Domingo" and "Rio".
