Trucks are indispensable. Almost everything we need and use has been on a truck at some point on its way to us. Our cities and their inhabitants, businesses and stores depend on delivery traffic. Truck drivers keep the (goods) world running; they are the backbone of trade and the transportation system. But who knows the drivers and their everyday lives?
Most people know trucks from the perspective of car drivers who get upset about traffic jams, "elephant races" on the highway or blocked roads in the city. Pedestrians and cyclists are afraid of being overlooked by them in traffic.
"On the road again!" is the first major exhibition to focus on truck drivers: what is it like to work and live on the road, at the rest area, in the truck itself? What makes the job a passion for many of them, despite some adversities? The exhibition also looks at topics such as globalization, logistics and the future of the industry. Discover the world of our truckers!
