As part of this year's onCe Festival for Instant Composition, two performances by renowned artists will be shown every evening for one week. The program allows the long-standing tradition of dance improvisation, for which Freiburg is internationally renowned, to blossom.

Six extraordinary dancers come together without any agreements or guidelines. Together, they create a unique dance piece in front of an audience, characterized by encounters, intuition and the moment. This performance celebrates improvisation in its purest form: spontaneous, courageous and unrepeatable - an intense experience full of creative energy.

During the onCe Festival 2025, workshops for dance professionals, enthusiasts and interested amateurs will take place twice a day.
