From May 20 - 25, 2025, you can see a series of unique moments and works that are unpredictable in their content, atmosphere and impact. A rare opportunity to experience the pure creative power of the moment! The onCe Festival Freiburg brings together artists from different disciplines, generations and cultural backgrounds to present improvisation as a living stage art. During the day, two workshops are offered twice a day for dance professionals and interested amateurs. In the evenings, visitors can look forward to performances by outstanding international dance and improvisation artists. For the first time this year, Freiburg's young urban dance scene will also be taking part and free sneak-in workshops in dance improvisation will be offered to interested audience members before the evening performances.
