On August 30, 1972, John Lennon played his only full-length concert in New York after leaving the Beatles. Kevin Macdonald's documentary takes the epic musical event as a starting point to reconstruct 18 crucial months in the lives of John and Yoko using fantastic, restored footage. The film includes a wealth of previously unreleased footage, home movies and numerous recordings of phone calls between John and Yoko. They provide a unique insight into a formative time in the life of one of the most famous couples in music history.

The event starts at around 9:45 p.m. when it is sufficiently dark. Admission and Box Office is from 20:30.

In case of rain, all ticket buyers will be informed by e-mail and the event will take place at 10 pm in the Filmpalette (Lübecker Str. 15, 50668 Cologne).
