Smartphones, the internet and digital games have long been part of everyday family life. Many parents are concerned about how they can support their children in learning how to use media competently. Media use is often a contentious issue in families and many questions arise in everyday life. How can my child surf the net safely? Which services are age-appropriate? Is my child ready for their first smartphone? And how much screen time per day is good for a child? The parents' evening is aimed at parents with children aged between 6 and 12. Participants will receive a variety of practical everyday tips on media education and have the opportunity to ask questions.
A computer (PC, laptop or tablet) with stable internet access and speakers is required for participation. Communication with the speaker can take place via microphone or chat.
