Open Air | Dacheröden in Concert: Deslin Ami Kaba

When it comes to promising musical newcomers from whom we can expect a lot more in the future, Deslin Ami Kaba is a must. With her unique mix of disco and R&B influences, the Leipzig native by choice creates a timeless, captivating sound that transcends genre boundaries and takes the audience on a musical journey back to the 80s and 90s. Her voice is pure soul.
Ami lived and studied in Erfurt for many years, where she found both motivation and inspiration for her own songs in the city's lively cultural scene. In her songs, she addresses the topics of womanhood, love, black identity and body positivity.
On the summer stage at Kultur: Haus Dacheröden, she will be accompanied by the guitar sound of Leipzig musician Niklas Fitzl.

As a support act, the young songwriter Aimee Luise Horrocks from Scotland will enchant with melancholy melodies and guitar chords.
