In cooperation with City 46 Kommunalkino Bremen, we are once again inviting you to a summer movie night for the whole family. The main movie this year is "Paddington".
The great band "Svarne vom Dach" will be playing before the movie and there will be other live acts, Oscar's Spielmanege, balloon knotters and activities for the children as well as grilled sausages, popcorn and drinks. As always, admission is FREE! Donations are requested.

Paddington
A little bear is sent to London all alone by his aunt. He is picked up at Paddington station by the Brown family, who take him in and christen him "Paddington". The father is initially against it, because a bear like that in the house is a big insurance risk. But the mother and the two children are delighted with their new furry roommate, who is always polite. His excessive curiosity causes a lot of chaos in the well-established family life. "The fact that the film offers entertainment for the whole family is also shown by the many film quotes and allusions as well as a good portion of situation comedy and dialog wit." (FBW)
Svarne from the roof
"If you listen to Svarne vom Dach, you won't be scolded at home."
They had their first concert with us on the summer terrace. Now they're back with exciting new songs! The acoustic duo combines a wide range of influences under one roof in their rhythmic, infectious groove and guarantees an entertaining, highly enjoyable concert experience. Their music is catchy and their joy of playing is infectious.
Sven Franzek writes German-language songs that are characterized by varied arrangements. He has a penchant for musical excess and incorporates surprising twists and turns. His lyrics are sometimes pleasantly quirky and charmingly eccentric, sometimes poetically touching - and always far removed from whiny singer-songwriter boys. Sven proves to be a versatile guitarist whose distinctive vocals are highly recognizable.
Arne Pertiet is the mando man. On his mandolin and mandola, he knows all the bluegrass waters, but shares Sven's preference for excursions into a wide variety of genres. He has a knack for great, catchy melodies. His voice flatters the ear, so that in addition to self-composed instrumental pieces, he occasionally sets rarely heard foreign texts to music. Brass music makes you happy - so Arne sometimes picks up the trombone
For us, open-air cinema means: you can bring everything you need to make yourself really comfortable in the garden of the Bürgerhaus with your family or friends. Bring a picnic blanket or camping chair for a cozy evening. Please do not bring any glasses, porcelain or bottles because of the risk of glass breakage - you can buy drinks cheaply on the premises and thus support the work of the Bürgerhaus Mahndorf. Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed in. We would be very happy to receive a donation for the maintenance of the garden area!
