THE PHOENICIAN MASTERSTROKE**

The traditional company of a rather eccentric family becomes embroiled in a mysterious espionage affair. Zsa-Zsa Korda (Benicio Del Toro), the extremely charismatic head of the family, survives several plane crashes under unexplained circumstances. Evidence quickly mounts that these are not accidents, but in fact targeted attacks - apparently with the aim of destroying him and his life's work. Tensions within the family continue to grow and mistrust spreads. Zsa-Zsa's relationship with his daughter Liesl (Mia Threapleton), who now lives in seclusion as a nun, is particularly fragile. Nevertheless, father and daughter embark on a risky journey together, during which numerous unresolved conflicts come to light and long-standing loyalties are put to the test.
