Between prefabricated building and orbit: The story of a young space fan from the banlieue is an expedition into the imagination - poetic, playful and full of fantasy.

Yuri has spent his entire life in the Cité Gagarine, a 1960s high-rise complex on the outskirts of Paris. Like the namesake of the social housing estate, Yuri dreams of one day taking off into space and escaping the dreariness. But when plans are announced to demolish the neighborhood, he joins the resistance. Together with his buddy Houssam, the dealer Dali and his new girlfriend Diana (Lyna Khoudri, The French Dispatch) from the Roma settlement next door, he sets out to save Gagarine - and transforms his apartment into a space station.
