His life has so far consisted of stealing, graffiti, hip-hop and care homes when rebellious Ricky is given a second chance in rural New Zealand. Ricky soon feels at home with his new foster parents, loving Aunt Bella, quarrelsome Uncle Hec and their dog Tupac. After a sad incident, Ricky is to be placed elsewhere, so he and Hec flee into the wilderness. When this triggers a nationwide manhunt, the new "outlaws" have to face their options: Either go down in a blaze of glory or band together and survive as a team.

Look forward to a wild journey with lovingly crafted characters, adorned with unique humor through New Zealand's breathtaking nature.
