Open-Air Song Slam

As part of the "Hofkulturtage"

As part of the new event series "Hofkulturtage", the newly founded Hofkultur Aachen e.V. invites you to a song slam in the open air at the Aachener Hof. The whole thing is a fusion of poetry slam and songwriting. As in a poetry slam, the musicians compete and vie for the audience's favor with melodies and lyrics they have written themselves.

From soulful ballads and rousing pop songs to musical comedy, anything can happen that the art of singer-songwriting allows. Who emerges victorious from the musical competition is, of course, up to the audience.

The show will be hosted by Aachen-based duo Lukas Knoben and Oscar Malinowski - without any musical talent, but skillfully and with a good dose of humor.
