Open Decks Techno gives DJs the opportunity to perform a techno set at Helios 37 - without any booking, regardless of whether they are newcomers or pro DJs!

As a guest, you get to listen to a wide variety of sets with different focuses and experience for a small fee in a very short time.

We are an open event format that gives a wide variety of DJs the chance to present themselves to the audience. Every DJ who is active in the field of techno can apply to enrich our program!
Before and after the Open Decks Sessions there will be a pro-set with Cologne club residents. FeuMixx will kick things off on 11.01.

The project is supported by the streaming channel "technoliebenundleben"

The artist with the most convincing set will be allowed to perform live there a few weeks later and present themselves to a broad online audience!

What should your set look like?

• Open Decks is for techno DJs and techno audiences. Please no applications for genres that are too far away:
  • No: e.g. Drum&Bass, Hardcore/Gabber, Hip-Hop, House, Pop, Rock etc.
  • Yes: techno, trance, minimal, tech house, hard techno
• Maximum 30-35 minutes
• Applications (with a link, mixtape, DJ CV or references) to our Instagram page: www.instagram.com/open.decks.techno/
• No bookings. Please refrain from applications with a financial background.
• What we offer you:
• We are your stage for your steps in a Cologne techno club
• Pioneer club standard setup (please bring USB sticks with Rekordbox or a laptop with Serato/Rekordbox software)
• Vinyl setup possible by arrangement
• Professional photo and video material of you and your performance
• Discounted entry for all your guests on the guest list
