Open Lab Abend: Lasercutter

In the organizer's words:

Future Tools Series

"Future Tools" is our current workshop series in which we take an in-depth look at various technologies. We will familiarize you with the machines of the future so that you can creatively develop ideas for the world of tomorrow.

In this "Future Tools" open lab evening, we will be looking at the dream tool of all makers - the laser cutter. Whether it's quickly developing and precisely implementing individual designs in a wide variety of materials, cutting simple patterns, engraving detailed graphics in wood or building complex three-dimensional objects, anything is possible.

Are you curious and want to know what possibilities the laser cutter offers you? Then come along and get to know the tool and the basics of laser cutting with your own small project: Preparing designs for the laser cutter, cutting, engraving and selecting materials.

The laser cutter and materials for experimenting can be used free of charge on site. Bringing your own laptop is an advantage for developing your own patterns. Are you coming by spontaneously? Don't worry, we have laptops on site.
