Opening & Drinks: overexposed/underexposed

In the organizer's words:

With the video installation overexposed/underexposed, Mila Zhluktenko and Daniel Asadi Faezi examine eight places in Munich that have a history of terrorist violence. People were killed, injured and traumatized at these locations scattered across the city for right-wing extremist, racist and anti-Semitic motives.

overexposed/underexposed creates a concentrated space that allows people to pause and reflect. As part of the opening, the two filmmakers Mila Zhluktenko and Daniel Asadi Faezi will talk about their work and present the project together with curator Anke Hoffsten. Moderation: Sapir von Abel. Followed by talks and drinks.

The filmmakers Daniel Asadi Faezi and Mila Zhluktenko are graduates of the Munich University of Television and Film. In joint projects, they explore non-fictional narrative formats. A recurring theme in their work is places, their complicated histories and the realities of life interwoven with them. Their co-directed short films have already been shown at several international festivals and won awards.

The event is part of the anniversary program of the NS-Dokumentationszentrum.
