Oper Meets HipHop

In the organizer's words:

In 2023, the Stuttgart State Opera, which is part of Europe's largest three-division opera house, invited the cultural venue "Im Wizemann" to put on a free evening at the opera house in 2024. Im Wizemann got the friendly NGOs Viva con Agua de Sankt Pauli e.V. and STELP e.V. on board, as well as the HipHop Open Festival (which unfortunately no longer takes place). The evening was organized jointly with the aim of collecting donations for these NGOs.

Tickets were sold out weeks in advance and the show was a highlight for both the audience and the performers. In 2025, we will once again bring together the classic setting of the opera house with modern hip-hop and host an evening of exciting and fascinating pop acts that break through the boundaries of genre and style.
