Think of it like rock guitar solos—but for the voice. Vivaldi, Handel, and their crew wrote pieces meant to thrill and astonish, full of wild vocal runs, lightning-fast coloratura, and dramatic showdowns that kept audiences on the edge of their seats.

This is Baroque opera, but turned all the way up—an evening of powerhouse performances, larger-than-life emotions, and music that still hits hard 400 years later.

Barockmusik – das war nicht nur Perückenpracht und Kerzenschein. Sie war wild, mutig und revolutionär. Für Könige, ja, aber auch fürs Volk. Komponisten wie Vivaldi und Händel haben die Stimme bis an ihre Grenzen getrieben – mit halsbrecherischer Koloratur und dramatischem Überschwang.

Stell dir Rock-Gitarrensoli vor – nur eben mit der Stimme. Diese Musik war dafür gemacht, zu beeindrucken, zu schockieren, mitzureißen. Und genau das tut sie noch heute.

An diesem Abend bringen wir den Barock zum Beben: große Stimmen, große Gefühle und Musik, die auch 400 Jahre später noch knallt.
