Spektrum-5 and guest artists cordially invite you to the vernissage of the exhibition "Opulence" on Thursday, March 13, 2025 at 7 pm.
Exhibition duration: March 14 to March 23, 2025
Opening hours Friday: 15:00 - 19:00, Saturday and Sunday: 14:00 - 18:00

Friday March 14, 2025 the clarinet trio KLARUSA will play at 18.00 to accompany the exhibition. Free admission. The exhibition brings together works by Agnes von Rogister, Annabella Maneljuk, Conny Wischhusen,

Susi Pirklbauer and guest artists Myriam Tümmers and cake artist Denise Mankowski

"What does opulence mean in a world characterized by great inequalities, surplus, boundless networking
networking and consumption? And where do I find myself in this topic?"
"Opulence" considers luxury and abundance not only as an expression of wealth or excess, but as a concept full of contradictions. In the modern context, we find opulence not only in material things, but also in special experiences or in the time factor or in the longing for simplicity and silence. - Aspects that were once commonplace and are now considered true luxury goods.

"Sumptuous, Abundant, Lavish, Exquisite, Superfluous, Magnificent" is the motto of the exhibition!

Her preferred means of expression are ink drawings, whose abstract forms and traces of writing stand alone and in dialog. It is about the exciting interplay of distance and proximity, stillness and movement, light and darkness. Various solo and group exhibitions

Annabella Maneljuk lives and works in Munich.
Her experimental videos deal with themes of perception and consciousness as well as transparency and physicality in the age of social media. Various group exhibitions in the fields of video, sound, installation and painting.

Susanne Pirklbauer _ SugarPaintings _ www.susannepirklbauer.de

born in Upper Austria, lives and works in Munich
In her artistic work, Susanne Pirklbauer plays with the different levels of meaning and material qualities of sugar. She is confident and humorous, cheeky and full of relish, provocative, but also thoughtful or very delicate.

Born in Paris, lives and works in Munich and Brittany. From found object to artistic expression in dialog often with ink, connected with threads. Nothing gets lost.
Member of Kunst in Sendling and BBK Oberbayern.

For the vernissage, guest artist Denise Mankowski from Café Freising will create an artistic cake especially for this evening.
