Back in the 1990s, Orange Blossomcreated a sound that was not immune to any influences. With multilingual vocals between electronic music, world music, trip-hop, folk and progressive rock, the band impressed with a versatility that is rarely found. Their song "Ya Sîdî " now has over 21 million streams on Spotify and more than 30 million YouTube views. Musically, the track takes up aspects of chamber music and mixes them with French chanson and Middle Eastern influences to create a multi-layered work of art. A range of different musical styles can also be found on their current album "SPELLS FROM THE DRUNKEN SIRENS" (2024), which gives the timeless music of Orange Blossom a modern twist and reveals the usual mesmerizing sounds. In February and March 2025 , the band will playGerman concertsin Cologne, Hamburg, Berlin, Frankfurt, Munich and Heidelberg.

Orange Blossom was founded in 1993 in Nantes by violinist Pierre-Jean "PJ" Chabot and drummer and singer Jean-Christophe "Jay C."Waechter. Together with organist Éric, the trio recorded their debut audiotape, which was released in 1994. Éric left the band in 1995 , while Carlos Robles Arenas joined the group as drummer and percussionist. In 1997,they released their CD debut "Orange Blossom" on Prikosnovénie, after which singer Jay C. left the band in 2000 and was replaced by percussionist Mathias Vaguenez and singer Leïla Bounous in 2002. With influences from Ivorian and Egyptian artists that Orange Blossom gathered on tour, the second album "Everything Must Change" was finally released in 2005 via Bonsaï Music and reached number 141 in the French album charts. After a long creative break, Bounous left the band in 2014 and was replaced by Hend El Rawy. The third album "Under The Shade Of Violets " followed in the same year , on which most of the vocals are in Arabic. In 2022, the live album "Blossom Live Sessions" was released,presenting hits such as "Ya Sîdî", "Habibi" and "Mexico" in an intimate live atmosphere. Ten years after the release of the third album, "SPELLS FROM THE DRUNKEN SIRENS" followed in March 2024as the fourth long-player. The band has lost none of its inspired and open-minded nature and once again impresses with hypnotizing vocals, dreamy instrumentals and an incomparable joy of experimentation.
