Klaus Mäkelä's career is on an unprecedented upward trajectory - at not even 30 years old, the Finnish conductor has built up a global profile and has become a popular regular at the Elbphilharmonie as a resident artist for the 2024/25 season. Now he is celebrating his 30th birthday with "his" Oslo Philharmonic, star violinist Lisa Batiashvili and a real program gift.
