Two chimney sweep friends who live in monogamous, heterosexual marriages both find themselves in situations that challenge their views on sexuality and gender roles. One has a sexual encounter with another man, without considering it an expression of homosexuality or infidelity, and subsequently discusses it with his wife. The other is thrown off course by a sensual dream about David Bowie.
