Street culture around the weekly market & in the city center

The Saturday stroll through the city during the summer has become a cult event, and not just for the people of Osnabrück. Word has also spread throughout the region: on Saturdays in the summer months, Osnabrück offers a varied program of street culture around its idyllic weekly market and in the historic old town - an offer that is second to none.

Whether Dixieland, singer/songwriters, musical comedy, classical music, blues or folk: on Saturday mornings from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Osnabrück's old town attracts visitors with colorful, cheerful cultural diversity: on the ten Osnabrück Saturdays this year, over 20 groups will turn the squares, streets and alleyways around the weekly market into their stage.

Jugglers, storytellers, Dixieland, folk, blues and singer/songwriters invite you to take a stroll with cultural discoveries from June to August under the motto Swing in the city - poetry in passing. And this program also attracts visitors from the region, who encounter colourful, cheerful cultural diversity around the idyllic weekly market, in the historic old town and in the pedestrian zone.

From mid-June to the end of August, every Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the old town and around the weekly market.
