Ost+Front is a new German hard rock band from Berlin. While the initial songs were characterized by a brute musical style and monotonous rhythms, influenced by the musical and lyrical role model Rammstein, influences from industrial, metal and gothic were added over time.

Ost+Front was founded in 2008 by Patrick Lange (Herrmann Ostfront), who had previously played with Corvus Corax, Tanzwut and Schelmish.

In 2011, Ost+Front became accessible to a wider public at the M'era Luna Festival, which they played with Chris L. (Agonoize) as frontman.[3] Less than two weeks later, Chris left the band and his place was taken by Patrick Lange under the pseudonym "Herrmann Ostfront", who had previously played guitar and backing vocals. This hindered the timely release of the debut album.
