OSTBEGEGNUNGEN - Nachwendekinder alive and kicking!

PICK OF THE DAY
You cannot miss this event.
In the organizer's words:

What images do you have in your head when you think of "the East"? Nazis, AfD, whining Easterners? Why still talk about the East? OSTBEGEGNUNGEN sheds light on the experiences of post-reunification children - the first East German generation without experience of the GDR, but with a complex heritage. In an installative performance, they show what East identities mean today and why we still talk about "East" and "West". Shared histories, shared future.

Admission from 7 pm.

A performative exhibition, funded by the Federal Foundation for the Reappraisal of the SED Dictatorship and the Ministry of Culture and Science of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia.
