During the Easter vacations, the ÜBERGANGSHAUS at Königstraße 54-56 will once again open its doors for a colorful and varied vacation program. From April 12 to 26, 2025, the consumer-free meeting place in the heart of Lübeck's old town will be transformed into a creative workshop and an action-packed living room for children and young people. The entire program is free of charge and offers new opportunities to join in, try out and discover every day. Please note: The ÜBERGANGSHAUS will be closed on Sunday, April 13 and on the Easter weekend from April 18 to 21.

The first event will be the Skate Jam on Saturday, April 12, where young beginners can try out skateboarding in a workshop. This will be followed by free skating, and boards can be hired on site if required. In the evening, the "Rock'n'Rollers" roller skating & inline skating disco with disco ball, lighting effects and a real 80s and 90s feeling will be brought to the dance floor.

On the following days, numerous creative, sporting and media activities are on the program. In the video workshop, participants will create their own short films, which will be shown in a festive premiere on April 17. Young authors can develop their own stories with the support of artificial intelligence and write their first books. There will also be creative craft activities such as designing Easter cards, macramé feathers or watercolor flowers, as well as beginner and advanced workshops on topics such as stop-motion, laser engraving, 3D chocolate printing and green screen.

There will also be plenty of exercise: children and young people can actively try out and discover new forms of expression with children's yoga, Wing Tsun, breakdancing and K-Pop courses. An afternoon of games including pen & paper role-playing games invites you to immerse yourself in imaginative worlds and experience adventures together. Music enthusiasts will also have the opportunity to create music through movement using programmable microcontrollers.

A special highlight on Friday, April 25, is the disco format "Next Gen Beats" with DJ Ben from the Spielwiese Kollektiv, who will transform the ÜBERGANGSHAUS into a hip party location with cool vibes and the right sound. On Saturday, April 26, K-Pop Day invites you to another program highlight with workshops and shows. The K-Pop formation K-Rush from the Movement Family will be taking part, organizing workshops and an open stage together with trainer Anna. A colorful supporting program rounds off the day and brings a piece of Korean pop culture to the ÜBERGANGSHAUS.
